The Opening Ceremony of Burnwood Tri Track.
The day began with speeches from Mrs Herbert and Mrs Wickham the Head and Assistant Head Teachers of Burnwood.

Joan Whalley M.P gave a speech and offered further help with our grand plans for Phase 2 of the bike area, which includes a BMX Track, a Mountain Bike Trail and Nature Area.

Everybody then moved outside for the opening of the track. We braved the rain showers and had a fantastic time.

Key Stage 2 children had the opportunity to try out some of the bikes which Pete Wintercrane brought with him.
The day finished with a fair in the hall and bike races on the track, organised by Lee Passam from Cycle Staffordshire who also represented British Cycling.
There was even time for a staff race at the end of the day!
